Brad Timothy Elrod

Brad Elrod is a lawyer who is focused on serving his client’s best interests. He believes each person he encounters deserves to be treated with respect and each case deserves hard work and effective representation.

Brad was born in Woodville, Texas and graduated from Woodville High school. He attended Texas A&M and Sam Houston universities. In 2013, Brad graduated from the University of Tulsa, College of Law. That same year Brad had the opportunity to come back home where he began work as an associate at the Law Office of Lindsey Whisenhant.

Mr. Elrod believes his experience working a wide array of cases has helped him become a more effective lawyer who can better serve the needs of his clients. Brad has worked hundreds of injury cases. He has represented hundreds more with divorce, child custody, and adoption issues. Brad has had experience in criminal and CPS court. He has extensive experience in estates and assisting people with wills and real estate. Brad has also served as the City Attorney for both Woodville and Ivanhoe. Few lawyers can claim this type of experience.

The result of Mr. Elrod’s extensive experience is that he has earned the trust and respect of clients, judges, and colleagues. Brad believes in being upfront and honest with both clients and the courts.

Brad loves to empower each client to be in control of their case. He knows each case is different and there a lot of ways to reach a goal. Brad knows there are situations where amicable solutions are best for the client, but there are also bullies out there and Brad won’t back down when he believes you are in the right. Brad understands that he’s assisting clients with some of their most important issues in life.

Outside of the office, Brad is very active within the community. He is a deacon and trustee at his church where he has volunteered and taught both youth and adult classes. Brad has coached both baseball and softball. He is also active in the Tyler County Dogwood festival. However, Brad’s greatest accomplishment is his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart LaLa and they have 4 children.

Brad believes in small-town values of hard work, honesty, and being there for the people of your community. He has found that when you combine those values with concern for your clients and good legal skill, you get results.
